Tidalites back to Korea!

On September 12, 2025, during the Tidalites 2025 conference held in Liverpool, UK, Korea was selected as the host country for Tidalites 2029. Tidalites is the most prestigious international conference in the field of tidal sedimentology. It was last held in Seoul, Korea, in 2000, and it will return to Korea after 29 years. I still vividly remember being a Ph.D. student back then, taking care of all the organizational details. As the chair of the organizing committee for the upcoming Tidalites 2029, I now feel a deep sense of responsibility and determination to ensure a successful and meaningful event.
